| OK! well we made it through friday and Caleb's surgery. He's doing well and on the rokad to recovery. I talked to Aaron on the phone...he too is doing good but i think he's ready to come home. (not for me but for T)any way that will be good when it happens. Alex ....wel is Alex and working real hard on his grades. Noah is trying to walk and falling down but always getting up. Isn't there a lesson in there for us? Anyway, that's all for now. someone comment me back! Have a great day!!!!!! | | |
| OK! so it's been a long, long, very loooong time since I up dated. So here it is. As most who dare to look at my site knows, @@r0n has moved to Oklahoma (for now) , Alex spent the weekend with his dad( the first in 8 months),and Noah has been fighting what is known as RSV. A very bad virus that a lot of babies have to be hospitalized for he is not. Today he is just throwing up and pooping everywhere. (@le6 is the only one with no drama in his life at the moment. Though it would be nice if he stayed home once in a while.
I'm looking for a new job. I have finally decided that LOWE's is not for me for a life time. i want to use my degree (Oral Communication). I mean that is why i went back to college to get a degree. I just don't like the rig-a-ma-roll they have at my work.
OK, so there is the skinny of my life at the moment. take it steady and sombody comment me!!!!!

| Today marks the 2nd anniversary of my dad finding out he had lung cancer. I would like to say that story has a happy ending but then again it depends on how you look at it. My dad was a wonderful man. I grew up in a close net family and family ties are strong. When we found out the news we all tried to be strong for him. But as time went on he knew the truth. It was just me and him in the hospital room, 2 AM. I had fallen alseep in the chair by his side. I opend my eyes to see him smiling at me. I smiled back and asked "what?" He just smiled. I asked him a poundering question I'm not sure even to this day if one is supose to ask a dying person but becasue I have the relationship with my dad....I asked. "Daddy, what's it like to know you are almost home?" meaning heaven. His eyes gleamed like stars and he smiled a smile I don't think I have ever seen and he said "I am so excited I really can't wait. I'm only scared of how it will happen. I don't want to hurt. This is what we live our whole life for and the only difference is I get to know I'm going sooner than you." He reminded me me of us being aliens here on earth and heaven is really our home. So here is to my dad in his wisdom, I love you and miss you but wouldn't want you to be anywhere but where you are. That is a happy ending. | | |
